UV-C Ozone Purification System for Hot Industrial Exhaust
Purifying hot, greasy exhaust vapor using photocatalytic oxidation
A purification system that has been specially developed for hot exhaust air heavily polluted with grease and fat from deep-frying or roasting in the food industry
Effectively destroys organic, greasy, and odor-carrying particles
Maintains ventilation ducts nearly grease-free and thus increases protection from fire
Temperatures over 100°C possible
100% humidity resistant
Automatic CIP cleaning system for the UV-C ozone lamps
Deep-frying facilities, industrial roasters, Teflon ovens, etc.
Compliance with official regulations (TA Luft, TOC<50mg>
Significantly increases fire safety
Significantly lower investment costs in comparison with afterburning, etc.
Lowering maintenance and operating costs – it takes ca. 15 kW to clean >3000 m3/h of deep-frying exhaust air, including fan operation
An on/off system
Low construction costs
Space-saving, roof installation possible
Easy installation, retrofitting is not a problem
No chemicals used, no sewage pollution
All byproducts are 100% biodegradable
HOW IT WORKS
UV-C ozone air purification works by having exhaust flow over special UV-C (ozone) lamps after it has been passed through a vortex filter and cooled by secondary air. The lamps’ radiation splits chains of fats and transforms natural oxygen (O2) into active oxygen (O3), which combines with the sources of odor in the exhaust; organic, greasy, and odor-carrying substances are oxidized. The byproducts are completely biodegradable and are expelled along with the exhaust airflow.
