Air that is polluted with volatile organic solvents can be purified using activated carbon
The most important application is for the process of removing chlorinated hydrocarbons (CHC) and aromatic hydrocarbons. In order for the airflow to encounter as little resistance as possible, a special form of activated carbon is used, one which causes the least pressure loss and the lowest energy costs.
The company oxytec can replace activated carbon on a regular basis at the customer’s request. It is also possible to rent activated carbon filters for short-, medium-, or long-term projects.
The company offers a special activated carbon replacement system made from stainless steel for projects that require very rapid activated carbon replacement due to their processing method. It is possible to conduct activated carbon replacement for a 1.7 t activated carbon filter within a maximum of 30 minutes.
